I have learned with AHA that what people say and the way they act is different all over the world. That might be because of their culture or their own individual character. However the basic concept is the same. When everybody does something by respecting and understanding each other we can become friends.

CULTURE

Cultural Ambassador Creed

Passport To Culture

AHA's Passport To Culture Program provides you, as an AHA Cultural Ambassador, the opportunity to share - and showcase! - your home country's culture, customs, heritage and traditions through daily, weekly and monthly activities, festivals, spotlights, socials and special events held during your practical training at your host property. All Passport to Culture Program activities are designed to emphasize and encourage cross-cultural learning while celebrating cultural diversity. This is your chance to show your country's true colors... and its dances and songs and culinary delights!

COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS

The American Hospitality Academy encourages all of our interns to volunteer for community service activities. AHA promotes the importance of civic responsibility and the ideal of service in fostering international understanding and goodwill around the world. Participation in one community service project is required by our students during their internship in order to receive their AHA certification.
